JETs Vol. 25-07 are crafted from a United States Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin CGNR 6576 (ser. no. 6272), which started as an HH-65A and was upgraded to a Charlie before retirement. This fuselage and tail boom were sourced directly from the USCG in December 2024. The HH-65 Dolphin, delivered in 1985, is renowned for its advanced automatic flight control system and ducted fan Fenestron tail rotor, and is lightweight at under 10,000 MTOW. Primarily used for MEDEVAC and SAR, the Dolphin also serves in law enforcement, security patrols, drug interdiction, and cargo transport.
